MTCSOL研究生选择进入本专业时的考虑大多比较理性,较好地结合了现实需要和个人兴趣。MTCSOL研究生对国际汉语教育事业意义的评价以及对国际汉语教学的兴趣都比较高,对未来就业方向的认识也比较清晰,不过对就业前景较为担忧。绝大多数MTCSOL研究生具有短期从业意向,但具有长期从业意向的学生不足半数。对国际汉语教学的兴趣是吸引MTCSOL研究生从业的一个重要原因,而职业发展前景的不确定性则是阻碍MTCSOL研究生从业的一个显著因素。MTCSOL研究生普遍比较看重海外任教的机会,但在国外长期发展的意愿并不很高。比较而言,男性MTCSOL研究生的就业信心和从业意向高于女性,读硕前专业与MTCSOL研究生的从业意愿无显著关系。
Abstract:Most postgraduates majoring in Master of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages(MTCSOL) have been rather rational to choose this major to study,and have well combined practical needs with their personal interests.With great interest in international Chinese language teaching,MTCSOL postgraduates highly value the significance of international Chinese language education,and have a relatively clear understanding of the direction of future employment.However,they worry about the employment prospect.Most MTCSOL postgraduates have short-term employment intentions,but less than half have long-term employment intentions.The interest in international Chinese language teaching is an important reason to attract them to be engaged,but the uncertainty about prospective career development is an obvious factor which obstructs MTCSOL postgraduates from being engaged in this occupation.MTCSOL postgraduates usually care a lot about the opportunities to teach Chinese language overseas,but they don't have great intentions in long-term development abroad.Comparatively speaking,male MTCSOL postgraduates have greater confidence in employment and clearer intentions than their female counterparts.There is no significant connection between MTCSOL postgraduates' majors before graduate studies and their employment intentions.
